Light up and laugh at the anti-smoking killjoys | News
Despite four years this month of the smoking ban in England, and a vigorous anti-smoking campaign paid for by the taxpayer, it has not lowered the number of smokers. Their number remains at about 20 per cent - the hardcore, of which I am one. It might kill me, although if it doesn't, something else will.
My two pennies worth of putting the world right! Highlighting injustice, hypocrisy and plain corruption!

For some time now I’ve had my suspicions about the Pharmaceutical industry, even though I am a beneficiary of their products, and they are products, products to sell on the ‘open’ market.
Money, money, money.

Smoking Helps Protect Against Lung Cancer
Every year, thousands of medical doctors and other members of the "Anti-Smoking Inquisition" spend billions of dollars perpetuating what has unquestionably become the most misleading though successful social engineering scam in history. With the encouragement of most western governments, these Orwellian lobbyists pursue smokers with a fanatical zeal that completely overshadows the ridiculous American alcohol prohibition debacle, which started in 1919 and lasted until 1933.
Nowadays we look back on American prohibition with justifiable astonishment. Is it really true that an entire nation allowed itself to be denied a beer or scotch by a tiny group of tambourine-bashing fanatics? Sadly, yes it is, despite a total lack of evidence that alcohol causes any harm to humans, unless consumed in truly astronomical quantities.

Daniel Hamilton of the civil liberties group Big Brother Watch said in response to the Budget:
"Since 1999, tax on a pint of beer has increased 57%. The levy imposed on a 20 pack of cigarettes has gone up 54%. Someone drinking seven pints of beer a week is paying around £58 a year more than they did in 1999, while the cost of smoking a packet of cigarettes has increased by around £327.
